1 + 1 = 8 or maybe 10?

November 10, 2019

About a month ago we received an email from a new Groom, Scott indicating that he was getting married in about 1 month and that Woodstone Country Club had recommended us for their Wedding Photography.  Scott indicated that it was an intimate event as both he and the Bride to be, Percy, had been married once before.  After reviewing our information with the Bride to be, they decided that our full day coverage would be the most cost-effective way to proceed.  Thus, this past Friday evening we had the pleasure to be part of their Special Day.  We began our day with Percy, at her home where she was getting ready and then time for images of her and her Children, of which made up half of the Wedding Party.  The couple’s ceremony was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Nazareth, PA.Children of both the Bride & Groom were totally involved with music, singing, prayers and even David walking his Mom down the aisle.  Rev. Scott Hall gave a beautiful and personal Wedding message for the couple to start their Marriage off with.  The couple’s flowers were designed by Phoebe Floral, (www.phoebefloral.com) and were stunning.  The couple’s reception was held at Woodstone Country Club’s, (www.woodstonegolf.com), Emerald Room.  After some family images in the Woodstone Lodge, the Reception took place with music and d entertainment supported by the couple family and friends.  Of course, the staff at Woodstone provided the very best in food, drink and service.  Custom Cakes by Adele, (www.customcakesbyadele.com) provided the couples cake, which was delicious.  So how do we come up with our math equation?Easy – 1 Bride with 3 Children, 1 Groom with 3 Daughters = A family of Eight.  But I guess if we’re going to be fair about it, we’ll need to add in Nick & JT (sons-in-law) to round it out to TEN!   On the way home from their Wedding, (besides watching for deer) Linda and I were commenting on the various comments from the Bride and Groom about their relationship and LOVE for each other, so maybe “the second time around” is a charm for the both of them.  Linda and I want to wish both Percy and Scott and new lifetime of LOVE and Happiness surrounded by their mixture/blending of all their children for many, many happy years together in love and Scott learning some new dance steps!
