A Little Country & A Little Rock n Roll

This past Saturday we had the joy to share in the Wedding of Ivy Priest & Adam Harris.We met this awesome couple at a local Bridal Event last year, confirmed their Wedding Photography on the spot and a few weeks later had a great Engagement Photo shoot at The Allentown Rose Gardens. Over the next few months they would pop up at other Bridal Event we were at – always with dazzling smiles, so cute together.Their Wedding Mass was held in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Hunlock Creek, PA.A little country Church, but just a perfect setting.Fr. Alex provided a very personal message for the two of them to start their married life off on the right foot. After formals in Church we headed off the Stonehedge Golf Course, Tunkhannock, PA, www.stonehedge-golf.com,(as we navigated to both locations that day I wondered how we ever did this before GPS?).As Adam plays this course regularly, he and Ivy had been picking out spots they liked for photos for over a year, all of which we checked out on our scouting trip with them a few weeks in advance.As we arrived at the course there were eight carts all lined up for us, including the entire Bridal Party and Parents to traverse the course.Based on time and weather we picked what we all thought would be the best spots and that worked out perfectly! The couple had hired a videographer to join us on the day, Ryan Repash who was a pleasure to work with.The club’s Banquet Manager, Erika Edwards and her staff were first class in all they did. Flowers by A&M Floral Express, were stunning, www.amfloralexpress.com and the couples cake was beautiful with offerings of lemon or strawberry, by Minooka Pastry Shop, www.minookpastry.com. Entertainment for the evening was provided by Holiday Sounds, www.holidaysounds.com, DJ Ron Kelly, as always, did a great job of keeping the dance floor filled all night.So why the title of the story? Over the past year we’ve seen the couple post on Facebook a lot of Country Line Dancing images and we noticed that Adam almost always wears Cowboy Boots, so when we asked about the music flavor of the night, Country was the answer – however, the title turned out to be the thyme of the party and it was perfect!Linda and thoroughly enjoyed Ivy and Adam and loved being such an important part of their very special day.We both wish them a lifetime of Love & Happiness.
