And it wasn’t even the 4th of July!

We recently photographed the Wedding and of Laura Ward to Michael Koughan at the Historic Glasbern Inn, Fogelsville, PA, (www.glasbern.com), an amazing B&B, dining location and intimate Wedding/Special Event venue.  We had been contacted by the Bride’s sister and Matron of Honor, who aided in the planning and timeline of the day.  Through her research, we had been recommended to them from the venue and at least eleven past clients of ours – very nice to hear! The couple’s flora offerings were created by Pondeleks Florist, (www.pondeleksflorist.com), and once again Jackie and her staff out did themselves.

For the first of April, the adage, “April comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb” was somewhat true.  It was a fairly overcast day and in the mid 40’s with just enough of a breeze to make it a wee-bit chilly for an outdoor wedding ceremony. Because of the weather, we opted to move the Bridal Party and family indoors the “Packhouse” for formal images, after the ceremony, but when complete we took our B&G back outside for some images of just the two of them.

Once inside the reception hall, Amanda Grace, Social Events and Wedding Specialist, and her staff provided the perfect offering of food and service.  Entertainment was provided by RMK Entertainment, (www.rmkentertainment.com).  It’s always great to work with a professional like Rick who makes the night go perfectly seamless in getting all the special events done and allows for lots of party time.

The room was decorated beautifully with up lighting, furniture, draping’s and décor provided by Omnivents, (www.omnigreatweddings.com), who are so well known for creating a custom atmosphere.

As a surprise to the B&G, the MOH had arranged for a fireworks display for the ending of the evening.  It was amazing, easily match any of the city 4^th of July shows we might expect to see.  All in all, a beautiful wedding for this couple who started out as friends many years ago and finally made it to this special day!  Linda and I wish the two of them a world of Love & Happiness.
