Greek Time!

Last weekend we were truly honored to photograph Christina Hronis & Richie Capitano’s Wedding at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Bethlehem, PA.Over the years we have photographed many Greek Wedding a result of which has been numerous referrals, such as this one.We started at Christina’s home and I have to go back to my earlier statement that we have photographed many Greek Weddings and as a result we know there is something called Greek time, which is different from that of the rest of the of the world – it moves much slower and timelines mean little.This was one of Christina & Richie’s big concerns.We at Reflections, pride ourselves in keeping as close to our time line as possible and never missing an image.In jest I shared with the couple that I am a Marine and I have no problem invoking US Marine time on everyone – well Greek time was replaced by Marine Corps time and we never missed a beat!!Their ceremony was beautiful, filled with all the imagery and symbolism of the Greek religion.The couples’ flowers were silk and designed by a friend and were stunning!Transportation around town was provided by J&J Transportation, ( www.jjtransportation.com), always our 1^st recommendation and their drivers, although all are great, was the best (I need to get his name – we have worked together so many times – my bad!).For outdoor images we went to Lehigh University’s Campus – just a great setting, then off to The Hanover Grande Ballroom, (www.hanovergrandeballroom.com) for the couples Reception and Party.Under the direction of Gina Marten, Director of Catering and Wedding Specialist – there was no doubt the night would be perfect!The couples cake was provided by Piece a Cake, the house baker, (www.pieceacake.com).Then we come to the entertainment Europa Sounds, (www.europasounds.com) by far the best Greek-American entertainment group we have ever worked with.DJ Steve and MC Dino put together the perfect mix of Greek and American music which kept everyone satisfied and the dance floor filled all night long – just awesome!In addition to our photography services, we also provided the photobooth for the evening – filled all night long with lots of smiles and silly faces.Christina & Richie’s Wedding was just perfect and we wish them the same for the rest of their married loves together.
