I’ll Olive you forever!

This past Saturday we had the privilege to provide the photography and video services to Christine Hersh & Brian Pillar for their Wedding Day.We had met the couple at one of the Bridal Events at the Hanover Grande Ballroom the previous year.Last summer we created an engagement session and helped with creating their Save the Date magnets. As always the Wedding Date come around quickly.We established a detailed timeline so that we would be able to have ample time for everything and not rush throughout the day. As is often the case, hair and makeup set us back over 45 minutes and we had limited opportunity for photography with the Bride and her party as they prepared for their Special Day. The couples Nuptial Mass was held at Immaculate Conception RC Church, Allentown.The Celebrants were longtime friends of the Bride and her Family and although the Mass started over 30 minutes late it was beautiful. The couples floral arrangements were created by Pondeleks Florist, (www.pondeleksflorist.com) and as always Jackie and her staff did an amazing job. After formal family images we headed over to the Hanover Grande Ballroom, (www.hanovergrandeballroom.com) where the couple held their Wedding Reception and Party.As there was a major threat of rain we used the beautiful grounds and Gazebo there for their outdoor images, which worked stunningly. The couples entertainment was provided by DJ Steve Vazquez of Sound Factor Entertainment & Events, (www.soundfactordj.com) who was a pleasure to work with and kept the dancefloor filled all night long. As for the HGB, under the direction of Gina Martin, Director of Catering and Wedding Specialist, everything went like clockwork with excellent service, atmosphere and food. The evening was full of fun, laughter and dance – we wish the same to Christine & Brian coupled with a lot of love for years to come. Oh! and the reference to Olives, the couple’s favors were olive trays – why, well when they both were children, they would take pitted olives and place them on the tips of their fingers and eat them – what a surprise to find out they both did that – mmmm… must be meant for each other huh?
