Yesterday we had the honor to photograph the Wedding of Linda Nguyen and Alex Maggitti on a not so perfect weather day. It was really great to be part of another Maggitti celebration as we had photographed Alex's sister's Natalie & Stephanie's Weddings a number of years ago and some family portraits for his grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary a few years back. The couple prepared at the Villanova Conference Center and Montrose Mansion before going to St. Colemans RC Church where the bride's uncle would officiate over the couples Nuptial Mass. The day started out overcast but rain shortly moved in before the ceremony, which negated our stopping at Villanova for a few images before returning to the Mansion for the couples??™ reception and party. As luck would have it the rain stopped upon our arrival back at the Mansion so we were able to create some beautiful images on the grounds of the mansion. The couple had hired a Wedding planner, Jennifer Suppper of Kaleidoscope Weddings, (www.kscopeweddings.com), who with her staff was a pleasure to work with. Their florist and baker we local to the Philadelphia area as was their entertainment The Rich Posmontier Ensemble who did a nice job of keeping the dance floor filled all night long. The Bride's ethnic background is Vietnamese and in holding with that tradition the couple changed into local attire halfway through the evening to the joy of all the Bride's relatives many of which had traveled for across the country. The evening was a joyous one and we were honored to be part of it and celebrate again with the Maggitti family.
