Meant to be.
This past Saturday we were privileged to be the photographers for Emily Hess & Alex Lemmon’s Wedding which was held at The Lofts at Sweetwater Country Club, (https://www.golfsweetwater.com).The day was beautiful compared to the heat index days of 100+ the week before. The couple decided to have their “First Look” before their Wedding Ceremony.As they had both written letter to each other we decided to have them read them, back to back prior to turning and seeing each other for the 1st time that day – it was very touching.There ceremony was beautiful, with ample music, song, readings and a wonderful message by their Minister, along with the couple braiding a three cord rope. Oh, and we can’t forget little Case, their Son who was wheeled down the aisle in a wagon by the flower girl, Lila.The staff at The Loft provided wonderful service and food.Entertainment was provided by DJ’s Alyson & Courtney from Best of Times DJ’s, (www.botdjs.com), who did a great job of keeping the dance floor filled all night long.The couple ended their party with a sparkler send off and we snuck in a fun time lapse kissing sparkler image at the very end as well.So why the title of this story…at the beginning of the reception, the Bride’s Father shared a story about how if Emily had not accepted an unexpected teaching position, that she had not even applied for, she never would have met and eventually married Alex.She told her Dad well if it’s meant to……sounds like the current popular country song by Florida Georgia Line – “Meant to be”
