Alexandra & Ryan Say “I Do”

July 25th, 2010

Alexandra & Ryan were married yesterday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  The bride was as beautiful as she was bubbly.  She surrounded herself with friends and relatives making for a stunning set of Bridesmaids.  Ryan and the guys were perfect partners for the girls.  Msgr. Murphy gave a beautiful homely and ceremony for the couple.  Flowers were designed by Phoebe Floral Design, (www.phoebefloral.com) and were a perfect accent to the bridal party.  Their reception was at the Brookside Country Club, (www.brooksidecountryclub.org), one of our favorite Wedding Venue’s in the Lehigh Valley.  Dave Hill, Club Manager, and his staff have 1st class down pat!  The entertainment was provided by the Slippery Band, (www.slipperyband.com).   This is the 1st time we’ve worked with this group and they were amazing.  The dance floor was full all night.  One of Alexandra’s bridesmaids, Elizabeth, sang for the couple during their Wedding Ceremony, for their 1st dance and for a few very special dances later in the evening.  She is one very talented lady with an amazing voice.  For desert, Granny Schmidt’s Bakery, ( www.grannyschmidts.com), provided a very beautiful and tasty Wedding Cake.  This was one wonderful day.

Lisa & Mark’s Wedding Vows

July 19th, 2010

Lisa Eck became Mrs. Mark Weiss on Saturday at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.  We’ve known the Bride since she was in grade school with our son Ken.  The color of the day was purple.  Flowers were done by Michael Thomas Floral and nicely done.  The reception followed at St. Thomas More’s Family Center, a truely well kept secret for a classy, cost effective Wedding Reception.  The floral center pieces were perfect for the room and the cake was designed perfectly for the theme of the day by Granny Schmidt’s Bakery.  As for entertainment, Tony D, owner of Holiday Sounds, was on hand.  Tony is on of our top 3 recommendations for a great DJ.  Of course, he kept the dance floor totally filled all night.  It was a great Wedding Day!

Rachel & Tim’s Wedding Vows

July 14th, 2010

Rachel & Tim became Mr. & Mrs. Jacobs last Saturday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Red Hill, PA, where Rachel’s father is the Pastor. Our long time staff photographer, Anne was accompanied by Terry doing Video for the couple.  A small reception followed the ceremony at the Church before the formal photos were taken.  The group then headed off the Lehigh University’s Campus for outdoor images, then off again to The Hotel Bethlehem, (www.hotelbethlehem.com), where they always do an amazing job providing the utmost service and excellant food.  Flowers were provided by East Greenville Florist’s, the cake by one of my favorite bakers “Granny Schmidt’s”, (www.grannyschmidts.com) and finally music by “Easy Street” Band.  Linda and I got to stop by on our way back from our Wedding at the Bank Street Annex and Shawnna stopped by from her Wedding at the Banana Factory.  It was almost the end of the night and I talked Anne into letting me do a few street scenes on Main Street with Rachel & Tim, while she captured some other images.  These are always some of my favorite shots of the night, the B&G out on the center line of Main Street with all the street lights behind them and cars slowly passing them by with shouts of congratulations!

Becky & Adam say their “I Do’s”

July 14th, 2010

Becky and Adam shared their vows at 1st Presbyterian Church last Saturday.  Shawnna, one of our expert staff photographers covered the day and created some really great images of this fun couple.  Their outdoor images were taken at Lehigh University’s Campus and also in front of their reception site “The Banana Factory”, located in the south side of Bethlehem.  This is a real fun place, where local artists get to create and display their work.  The other companies involved with the day were; flowers by Garden of Eden, (www.thegardenofedenflowers.com), which were beautifully done as always; the caterers were Masion Blanc, who also did the “stary, stary night” Wedding Cake.  Entertainment was by one of the best DJ’s and Radio Personalities in the area, Steve Mittman, Mittman Entertainment, (www.mittmanentertainment.com).  His music and speciality lighting will make any occassion special, like it did this one.  Shawnna, got some great shots of his new LED in action, while the dance floor rocked!

Katie & Matt’s Wedding Blast

July 14th, 2010

Katie & Matt were pronounced man and wife last Saturday as one of our 3 Weddings that day.  Their ceremony was held at the Bank Street Annex, Easton PA, (www.bankstreetannex.com), as was their Reception.  The bride and her party were exceptionaly pretty and Matt and the guys cleaned up OK as well.  The minister Lois Heckman did a very personal wedding service for the couple.  We followed with formal portraits taken upstairs, then Wedding Party and B&G photos in the amazingly colorful Bank Steet Alley.  The couple had filled the reception to almost it’s maximum with friends and family, but despite the crowd, Kerry Harrinton, Banquet Manager for the Bank Street Annex, made sure the food was great and the service perfect, but as always!!  To add a little excitement to the evening, Easton was celebrating Heritage Day this very weekend and the Mayor of Easton, invited the couple to come out to the center square to do a dance together to the music of The Main Street Cruisers, (www.mainstreet-cruisers.com).  It was a fun time and the crowd really enjoyed seeing this newly married couple do and 2nd first dance for them.  Once back inside the party was going on in full force, I don’t think there was a spare inch on the dance floor to be found.  The other players for the day were – music by the Pro’s, video by Video Unlimited, flowers by Bonnies Flower Shop and cake by The Bakery Nook.

Sally & Chris’ Wedding Day

July 14th, 2010

Sally Bates & Chris Clemens became man and wife last Friday at Muhlenberg’s Chapel, where the bride has been a student.  The weather report was not good all day, but the rain held off and we were able to do everything we had hoped for.  The Wedding ceremony was beautiful and very personal.  The backdrop at the chapel was perfect for the formals and despite the nats we were able to get a few outdoor images.  The Bride’s Mom surrounded her convertible, “Chile”,  for the B&G to travel in to the Reception at the Barristers Club in downtown Allentown.  Christine Brown, as always did a perfect job managing the event.  Flowers we provided by Phoebe Floral Shoppe, www.phoebefloral.com, which were simple but elegant. The cake was designed by the “Cake Chic”, (www.cakechicdesigns.com)  and new one for us, but a favorite of the Brides.  Masion Blanc was the caterer for the evening.  Music was provided by Tony D and staff of Holiday Sounds, www.holidaysounds.com, one of the best Mobile DJ Companies in the Lehigh Valley.  Tony kept the floor filled all night, but what else is new.  All in all is was almost a picture perfect Wedding for this amazing couple.

Jennifer & Matt’s Wedding

July 4th, 2010

Jennifer & Matthew became Mr. & Mrs. Toroney, yesterday at Asbury Methodist Church, Allentown, with family & friends looking on.  It was a beautiful wedding ceremony and a beautiful day overall for the 4th of July weekend.  Jennifer’s friend Amy was her Maid of honor and Matt’s brother Nate was his Best Man.  The couples reception was held at The Meadows in Hellertown, PA, where we did most of their outdoor images.  Flowers were provided by Floral Abundance and the cake by the Flower Shoppe.  The reception was entertained by a Jazz Trio which provided background music during the Cocktail Hour and Dinner Reception.  As the story was told the couple fell in love at 1st sight, as they were both in the operating room with surgical masks on, with only their eyes exposed, when they first laid eyes on each other.  A very cool story!
