That's up from $32,641 in 2015! according to the 10th annual The Knot survey. The Knot Real Weddings Survey, hit the wire today and the results are interesting to say the least. The average cost of a wedding is at an all-time high at $35,329 and spend is up across most categories throughout the U.S. Our survey is the largest study of its kind. This year more than 13,000 couples who had planned a wedding and got married in 2016 completed the survey. Our in-house research and insights team compiled the data to give you the national average as well as the average cost of weddings across the country (because obviously a wedding in Manhattan costs more than a wedding in Omaha!).
