This past Saturday we had the honor to photograph the Wedding of Lisa Harrison & Tim Landrud. One of the things that we normally don't ask is what our couples do for a living, unless they offer it and the same was the case when we interviewed with Lisa & Tim. After doing this for a while I knew that Tim was leaning our way, but not sure about Lisa. I also knew by Tim's hands and his handshake he worked with is hands. A day or two after our initial meeting, Lisa called with a few questions, then again a few days later and then again and again – I love when a couple asks questions as it's such an important decision. Then one day another couple inquired about our availability for the same day, I emailed Lisa just as a heads' up if they were still interested and she called right away to confirm the date with us and one of the reasons being our willingness to quickly respond to all her questions and concerns – you''ll understand how this plays into the blog title a little later. The couples Wedding was held at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church, Bethlehem, PA. The presider was Lisa's former Pastor, Mike Hollenbach who gave a beautiful message and told the story of how the couple met, Christian Mingle, (the Man above). The couples's flowers were designed by Rich Mar Florist, (www.richmarflorist.com), Rich, Jon and the staff there always do a wonderful job and this day was no exception. During the couple's ceremony, they lite a Unity Candle but also assembled a Wedding Cross that Tim have designed a built, (the Carpenter). The couple held their Wedding Reception at The Meadows, in Hellertown, PA, (www.meadownpa.com). During the toasts Lisa's sister shared how when she was growing up always questioned everything and her nickname was, (the Lawyer). Despite the weather we were able to sneak out in the evening before the sparklers that ended the evening for a few night time photos. It was a lovely day for two lovely people and their families and Linda and I would like to wish them years of happiness together.
