That might seem like a strange title for a Wedding Blog, but many of you know I am a US Marine and very proud of that fact but hold every US Military Person in the highest esteem, but it doesn’t mean I won’t give them a little bit of a hard time. This past Saturday’s Wedding of Jennifer Harrison to Shelby Lebron was picture perfect in all ways. The couple prepared at Weyhill Guest House, Saucon Valley Country Club and had their ceremony and reception there as well.
We arrived to an overcast sky, perfect for an outdoor wedding photography until it started to rain. Hopes stayed high though and we were able to get all the images of the Bride preparing and then off the billiards room for the Groom and his buddy’s. The Bride’s gown came from Jon's Bridal by Suzanne, (www.JonsBridalBySuzanne.com) and was a dream gown for our beautiful Bride. Flowers were designed by Ross Plants and Flower’s (www.rossplantsandflowers.com) who did a truly stunning job. The Bride’s cousin, (https://www.beckykinnhairdesign.com) did the Bride and Bride’s maids hair and make-up and they all looked beautiful!
So, we knew the groom was in the Army, but then it turned out that his best man was also in the Army and then to find out that the Maid of Honor was also Army! We had lots of fun and what a great Wedding Party to work with.
By the time we had reached our scheduled “First Look”, the sun had come out and the rest of the date was one of perfect weather. The officiant was the father of the Best Man and a longtime friend of the groom. Music was played by the Elysium Quartet during the prelude, entrance and exit; just beautiful, (ElysiumQuartet@gmail.com). The Weyhill facility is amazing as an intimate Wedding venue. Excellent food, service and surroundings. The couples wedding reception was under a tent erected by Action Party Rental, (www.actionpartyrentals.com) along with the lighting and ceremony arch. The DJ and MC for the evening was DJ Rob, owner of “A Great Mix DJ Entertainment”, (you can find him on The Knot and Wedding Wire). The couples cakes was created by a friend of the Bride Ashley Matyas and although I didn’t have any, everyone was raving about it!
All in all, it was just an amazing Wedding from start to finish. Beautiful Bride, Good Lookin’ Groom, fun Wedding Party and Family, perfect day and a really, really nice couple! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your Special Day and Linda and I wish you a thousand years of Love & Happiness!
